Elwin Cross

American Country & Western singer and bandleader and disc jockey. Born February 11, 1911 in Los Angeles, California – died August 14, 1997 (aged 86) in Fresno, Fresno County, California, USA. Cross worked as a well-known disc jockey for 50 years. With KYNO radio, he had his own early morning show called "At the Bar 13 Corral" and an afternoon show where he sang and played the guitar. His theme song was "Are You From Dixie." Later, he had an early morning show on KEAP radio. Cross also performed at Hoe Down Hall in Fresno, CA.
