Robert "Bob" Duffy (b. November 1946) is an American maker of harpsichords, clavichords, and citterns based in Speedway, Indiana. He offers several unique models, including the XVII-century fretted instruments and pedal clavichords after Johann David Gerstenberg (1716—1796). Between 1977 and 1983, Duffy apprenticed with renowned Frank Hubbard (1920—1976) at Hubbard Harpsichords in Waltham, Massachusetts; he later joined Eric Herz's workshop. After relocating to Indiana in 1986, Bob Duffy worked for Goulding & Wood pipe organ builders as chief cabinet maker.
