Scottish band with connections to Cocteau Twins. Formed by Hamish Mackintosh in 1987 the first album, “The Back Of This Beyond,” was released later that year on Nightshift Records. Hamish then produced a second album which was due to be released but the collapse of the record label meant this was postponed. Their first 12" EP "Songs In The Key Of E" was released on Midnight Music in 1991. In 1994, the EP “Timeless” was released with contributions from Cocteau Twins, including the vocal talents of Elizabeth Fraser on the song “Butterfly Knife”, and Robin Guthrie’s inimitable sound on both that track and the astounding shoegazer should-be classic “Wildfire”. In April 2013, Hamish put the unreleased 1991 debut album, "Five Divinity Avenue", on Bandcamp.
