Alice Sulak

Saxophonist and venue owner from the Temple, Texas area. She began running Tom Sefcik Hall, a Czech Texas dance hall started by her father, in 1970 and has continued to run the venue. Sulak began playing music as a drummer in her sister’s band Adela And Music Masters at the age of 11. She played saxophone and sang with with Otis Black And The Melody 5 then Jerry Haisler And The Melody 5 from the 1960s to the 2010s and still performs with the band on occasion.
