Barry Leach (3)

Guitarist, composer, singer, bandleader and music educator from Mississippi. After graduating from the University Of Southern Mississippi in 1983 with a degree in jazz studies and classical guitar, Leach moved to Los Angeles, California, where he played with power rock trio Scratch. After returning to Mississippi, he began to teach private music lessons and perform with acoustic vocal harmony group Big House Trio. He then formed soul jazz group The Vamps. Leach has worked with artist and projects including Dee Barton Orchestra, HBO, Derf Scratch, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Carmine Appice, Dorothy Moore, Greg ‘Fingers’ Taylor, Spencer Davis, Larry Raspberry, and Guy Hovis.
