Hal Senyk

Pipes. Moved from Montreal to Victoria in the early 1960's and played for the Canadian Scottish Regiment until 1971. He was the first Canadian to win a major prize in Scotland, winning the March competition in Inverness in 1972. The same year he joined Triumph Street Pipe Band and served as Pipe Major 1972-1983 and 1988-1991.
