Jesper Jørgensen

Danish record producer, sound engineer, conductor, arranger, photographer, writer, and all-round classical musician (violia, oboe and various brass instruments), born 1946. Founder of the record labels Canzone and Helikon. In the 1970's and 80's Jørgensen worked with Sjællands Symfoniorkester and [a657917] (viola), GöteborgsOperans Orkester (oboe and english horn), and Tivolis Promenadeorkester (oboe 1975-77 and conductor 1978-79). Founder and conductor of Nordisk Kammerorkester (the Nordic Chamber Orchestra) 1968-84. Carillonneur at Vor Frelsers Kirke, Copenhagen 1969-71. Work as a photographer with tasks for Nationalmuseet, for example, and editor and writer. Comprehensive business as a recording producer for international record companies such as Decca, EMI, Naxos, Olympia and Philips, as well as the Danish CDKlassisk, Dacapo Records, Danacord, Exlibris and Kontrapunkt.
