Shrine of August

Solo project of Belgian drummer/songwriter Steve Vanderperren. Although coming from a progressive rock background, this project is more post-metal oriented, with a dark, melancholic vibe throughout the music and lyrics. In order to describe this blend, the term "Prog Noir" came up. Some progressive elements might remain, but the emphasis is on the music, not necessarily its technicality.
