A former English-as-second-language teacher in San Diego, who was asked by [a200567], if he and his band, Sangre Machehual, could appear on his next album. They are primarily featured on the title track to Lives In The Balance. Hugo plays the charongo, a small, 10-string guitar carved from the shell of an armadillo.
