Frank Migl's Orchestra

Frank started with his brother in the Adolph Migl's Orchestra in 1926. By the mid-1930's Frank left his brother's band to start the Frank Migl Orchestra. Band members included: Glen Wagner, Ray Voelkel, Gladys Voelkel, Butch Voelkel, Johnny Zumwalt, Henry J. Repka, Squy Wallace, Herbert Kloesel, Laughlin McKinnon, Herbert Rother, and Alfred Marquise. In the 1940s and '50s the Frank Migl Orchestra recorded Czech polkas and waltzes on nine 78-rpm records and one 45-rpm record at the Humming Bird studio in Houston. Almost all records featured a polka on one side and a waltz on the other side.
