Coco Kallis

Born in Maine and starting her musical career as a trained opera singer in Boston, Kallis performed in a number of stage performances before discovering a love for folk music in the late 1960s. Performing in two separate folk outfits, the trio A Day in the Sun, and the duo Fritz and Coco, Kallis' local shows soon blossomed into touring shows and after moving to Vermont she founded Coco And The Lonesome Road Band. She would give performances with The Lonesome Road Band for the next two decades. In 2007, Kallis joined Lafe Dutton to form the folk duo Coco & Lafe.
