Rock Generation

Brazilian fictional band. Feeling that the "true rock 'n' roll" was over after Elvis Presley was drafted into the US Army, [a400768] decided to honor the genre by recording a selection of hits. However, forbidden by the record company to put his name on the cover - because they thought that it could hurt Krig-Ha, Bandolo! sales (also released in 1973) - the label decided to credit the album to a fictional band called "Rock Generation" with Raul assigned with a production credit. The album didn't received much media exposure and ended up being forgotten in stores, but after the sales success of Krig-Ha, Bandolo! and Gitâ the label eventually re-released it 1975, retitled as 3368570. Latter it was retitled and reissued as 6687534 in 1985 and as 10182289 in 2001, both crediting [a400768] as the main artist on the front cover.
