Frank Ferraro (4)

Frank J. Ferraro Sr. was an inductee of the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame in 1991. Ferraro helped lead the Buccaneers of Reading, Pennsylvania to two Drum Corps Associates (DCA) world championships, three Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) national championships, eight American Legion (AL) state championships and eight VFW state titles over a thirteen year period. Prior to that, he was arranger and director for West Reading Corps for eight years with seven AL state championships and four VFW state championships to his credit. He also was associated with corps of Schuylkill Haven, York White Roses, Milton Keystoners and the Westshoremen. He retired from a forty year music education career in 1993. Ferraro died December 20, 2020 at age 88.
