Mukala Kanyinda

Mukala Kanyinda 'Coco' (or Koko) is Congolese musician (mainly percussion) and composer. He has been a musician since 1965, first recording with Orchestre Vox Africa in 1968. He performed with [a4377136] and Dr. Nico before relocating to Kenya and joining Orchestra Les Mangelepa. Now lives in Bristol, UK, performing with his band Soukous Koumbele and working part time with a theatre company, Eroko, performing in schools -storytelling, drumming and teaching African dance.
