Melodic punk band, Landskrona, Sweden. Existed around (1991-1995) Andy Carlsson (Guitar) & Johan Jonvén (Drums) childhood friends, now in their early teens, formed the band in Johan's parents' cellar around 1991 but quickly found a small rehearsal place at the legendary Allé Skolan in Landskrona, where lots of bands was rehearsing during the early 90’s. They ended up in a super tight space, so small they hardly could fit in there, neighbors with The Rattlesnakes (Svegis, The Bristles, The Skalatones, The Negatives) and Fredde Anderberg (Bristles D.C and D.T.A.L). They take the first steps for the band. Some other friends (Pierre Andersson Ek, Niclas Grabwoski) from Aceton offered them to share rehearsal space, and that’s also when Christian ”C.O” Olsson (Bass) , Måns Holmstedt (Vocals) and Viktor Nyström (Guitar) joined the band. Shortly after this, Viktor was replaced with Henrik Olsson (Guitar) The band was struggling with a band name, and while everyone else had a band name written on the whiteboard, their spot remained empty until one day when someone had written Odens Öga (Odins Eye) on the blank, and they just kept that name. The first demo "Livets Gång" was recorded in 1993 and they also advanced to their own rehearsal space. But new tensions in the band pop up, and C.O had to go and got replaced with Thomas Ahlström (Bass). Odens Öga performed several of live gigs at Harlekin in Landskrona and also opened up for Wilmer X at Landskrona Karnevalen 1993. Another demo got recorded on a portastudio , with three new songs: ”Illusioner”, ”Murar” and ”En Vän”. ”En Vän” was dedicated to Måns grandpa that had passed away recently. 1994 is the end for Allé Skolan and all bands rehearsing there get kicked out. Odens Öga find a new rehearsal place at Bildeve in Landskrona, here they start to experiment a bit with more advanced songs. They worked on one song with potential called ”Ge Inte Upp” but unfortunately nothing gets recorded. Later in 1994, Bildeve is also shut down, and they need to find a new place again, they move out to the old shipyard, but shortly after he band members goes separate ways, and they decide to split up in 1995.
