Will Warner

Record producer, collector and archivist. Specialized in Fats Waller and early jazz groups such as Bob Crosby and the Bob Cats, Bix Beiderbecke and Henry Red Allen. Born in Kirkwood Missouri in 1923, Will grew up admiring the touring bands of the 30s and 40s and grew to love the music. After serving in the Marines in World War II, Will began a successful career as a stock broker but kept his love of music always. He became a collector of many rare recordings and films. He especially liked working with Jerry Valburn, Jack Towers, Charlie Menese and Don Wolff. He died in 1994.
