Octavio Mass Montes

Mexican guitar player and singer (tenor) (b. November 2, 1899 in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico - d. 1970 in Mexico City, Mexico) Known as "el cantante campechano", Montes twice traveled to San Antonio, Texas for recording sessions, in 1932 and 1934. The resulting tracks were released on Brunswick, Okeh, Vocalion (2), and, in the case of the 1934 session, Bluebird (3).
