Los Importantes de la Noche

Formed in Mexico City in 2011 but inactive for 5 years due to pursuing other projects; Los Importantes de la Noche are back. Los Importantes de la Noche are Gustavo Jacob on keyboards & vocals, Zulu González on bass & vox and Ricardo Jacob on guitar, vox & drums. Each member has more than 20 years of experience in the Mexican music scene with bands such as Intestino Grueso, Roberto Ponce, Los Jaigüey, Thelmo Castelló, Luz de Riada, Ádada, The Room Trio & La Escalera. The band have also worked in animation, photography and journalism. With a unique sound emulating the romantic songs from the 50’s and the psychedelia & garage punk from the 60’s, Los Importantes de la Noche fuse this together with a Latin feel.
