Jimi Fox

Jimi Fox started his radio work on KDES-Palm Springs, then went to work on KENO-Las Vegas, KIKX-Tucson, KRIZ-Phoenix and KUPD-Phoenix. Late in 1974 Jimi helped Bobby Rich put KFMB (“B-100”)-San Diego on the air. He did weekends and acted as Program Director for the debut of KTNQ-AM ("the new Ten-Q") in Los Angeles on December 26, 1976. After leaving KTNQ, Jimi went to KCBQ-San Diego as Program Director. He then joined Mercury Records as VP of National Promotions and was the radio editor for Cash Box Magazine. Fox also owned his own consultancy firm, Fox & Fox Media Consultancy, and the short lived Hook City Records label.
