HIVEMIND began in April 2015, when Tom and Joe were looking to develop a new music project to supplement their already ongoing jamming. The idea to form a hard rock duo came about and this provided the foundations to HIVEMIND. The band is influenced by all sorts of hard rock bands, with the most notable being bands such as Tool, Helmet, The Melvins, Silverchair, The Mars Volta and Soundgarden.
