Danny Smith (23)

Multi-instrumentalist originally from the Atlanta, Georgia area, later based in Austin, Texas. Smith grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia and began his music career playing keyboards with Atlanta band Pusher after graduating high school. After two years with Pusher, he joined Cadillac Voodoo Choir on keys, vocals, guitar, percussion, harmonica, and trombone. Smith moved to Austin, Texas with the band. After several years with Cadillac Voodoo Choir, he toured and recorded with Podunk. In 2005, he started the band Ameritrash with drummer Taxi Haskell and guitarist David Beeson. Smith spent several years in Nashville performing, writing and working in the studio before returning to Austin in 2011 and working on a solo project and further Ameritrash releases.
