Peter Wolf (3)

Austrian-American pianist and keyboardist, producer, composer and arranger (* 26 August 1952 in Vienna, Austria). Wolf studied classical piano at the Vienna's Conservatory of Music and won the European Jazz Festival as a solo pianist at age 16. He came to America in 1975 and began playing keyboards for Frank Zappa. He was studio keyboardist and arranger from 1980 to 1985 and started his production career in 1985 with the Starship (2) album 852075. Wolf has scored a number of major motion pictures and also written and performed on 6 of his own albums for the Polydor and WEA labels. He co-produced and arranged the Commodores' #1 album 1418890, Heart's biggest selling album entitled 1715505, Go West's album 535134, The Pointer Sisters' album 427215, Chicago's album [I] and Thomas Anders' album 1380086. In Rights Society data bases the alias Josef Dermoser (IPI: 00769203227) sometimes is used for writer credits.
