Annalie Prime

Annalie Prime is a Roots-Pop singer, songwriter and music composer. She is known for popularizing a distinct fusion of roots genres like Calypso, Reggae, Folk and Soul. Born in Tunapuna, Annalie grew up in Chase Village, Trinidad which she describes as the perfect mix between town and country lifestyle. She credits this environment for being able to be purpose-driven while having grace and humility on her musical journey. In 2020, Annalie released her debut album entitled "I Think Too Much" which revolves around the topic of mental health and self improvement. She describes the album as journal entries turned into sound. In 2021 she released her sophomore album entitled "Nine" which she created as a response to the rising levels of gender based violence. Annalie often speaks of her true motivation behind creating music and art which is a deep passion for the human journey and finding ways to connect individuals with the highest form of themselves.
