Robert Charles-Dunne

Canadian music journalist, promoter, manager and record company executive from Toronto, Ontario. Editor of Canadian music magazine Beetle from 1971 until it folded in 1975. He then became press officer for Daffodil Records and wrote a weekly column for Record World. He co-founded the label El Mocambo in 1980 with Joe Owens, his partner in management/promotion company Charles Dunne & Owens. Founder of UK label Picasso. Moved to London, Ontario where he owns and operates The Village Idiot record store.
