Indie cumbia pop quartet from Austin, Texas formed in 2013, led by songwriter Nelson Valente Aguilar. The group combines Latin music with indie pop and New Wave. In 2016, Como Las Movies collaborated with Mexican hip-hop artist Niña Dioz for a remix of her single “Mierda” and performed as her backing band on various Texas tour stops.
