Brooks Poston

One-time Manson associate Brooks Poston surfaced from Death Valley and embarked on a brief musical tour of Los Angeles with a lovely and multi-talented female partner, Jane Boltinhouse. They were seeking to promote sales for three cassette albums they had recorded in 1984. Jane Boltinhouse, after divorcing Wings Hauser, appears to have become involved with former Manson follower Brooks Poston in the late 70's/early 80's. They formed a musical duo that performed briefly in Southern California in the early 80's, and released some music on cassette. Brooks Poston & Jane Boltinhouse followed their guru, Paul Crockett to Northern Washington State. There Brooks & Jane continued as 'NORTHERN LIGHTS' performing a number of 'DESERT SUN's original songs. Northern Lights reappeared in Southern California in the mid-eighties and performed a few concerts while selling three Cassette Tapes of their music along with Posters and Tee-Shirts. But soon they were called back to Washington State by their mentor. This music seems to have been professionally recorded because an orchestra and choir can be heard throughout as well as other background singers and musicians.
