Poindexter is a song-writing vehicle for R Jeffrey Proctor formed with Steve Kerfien (The Control, Sonorous Gale, Robot has Werewolf hand) and Jon Kessel who each share a similar interest in the combination of warm tones and driving harmonies. Proctor and Kerfien stood in as tour musicians for Kiss of Death artist Unwelcome Guests UK tour 2011. Josh Gordon occasionally stands in for Jon Kessel at live performances.
