The Three Jacks (4)

US vocal group. Members: Rodney Rodgers (vocal) and two unknown singers, one of them also as pianist. The Three Jacks seem to hail from Chicago originally, where they recorded at least one side for Okeh in 1928. In 1930 they recorded a few sides as refrain singers for the Columbia in-house orchestras that were published on cheaper brands such as Harmony, Clarion and Publix, and two solo titles, of which this is one. It seems that they could also provided their own instrumental backing, as Rodgers is sometimes listed as a steel guitarist.
