Newun

The band was founded in 2014 by VUK and Helwanderer (Schattenwesen) under the name Helsang. 2015 Grimwald join the band, they change the name into Newun. Newun is Germanic and means nine. 2016 Helwanderer was thrown out of the band and found his own band under the name Helsang. Newun split off in early 2018 after the recordings for their debut album, without any official release. Grimwald release a demo CDr of the recordings for some friends only. VUK change the bandname into Zawn and delete all internet pages and videos of Newun. In early 2019 Grimwald take the name Newun and recreate the band as his own project for the future. In 2022 Schattenwesen (Helwanderer) joined the band again to revive Newun.
