Guitarist Easy Pena aka Isidro "Easy Pena" aka Isidro (Easy) Pena aka Easy M. Pena was a member of The Charades and Latin Knights bands. He was mentioned in an article about The Charades in Tulare Advance-Register (edition September 2, 1963). Playing lead guitar, he was 21 years old at the time and worked at Sartuche's Electrical in Tulare, California. Other musicians in the band included Ignacio Perez, Charles .Crumm, and Henry Vasquez as well as the singers, Alex Pilkinton, Syl Grigsby, Ray Baradat ([a1678150]), and Johnny T. Johnson. He was with the group from the when they were called the Latin Knights through to The Charades (1959-1966). He is the credited composer of "Sophia" which was released on Anthony J. Hilder's Impact (see Impact (12)) label in 1964. It appeared again in 1984 as the B side on "10997607 ". His song also appears on the 2077795 album by Al Garcia & the Rhythm Kings, released by Bacchus Archives in 1999.
