Об исполнителе:
French countertenor and songwriter. Samuel Cattiau discovered his high, precise voice during his studies at the School of Applied Arts. He worked on vocal technique, stage presence and the Baroque repertoire, and went on to perform his first concerts with a vocal trio. At the Conservatoire de Musique and then with voice professionals, he developed a timbre spanning several octaves, from baritone to countertenor. After presenting pieces and works from Baroque operas (C. Monteverdi, J. Dowland, H. Purcell, G.F. Haendel, etc.), he went on to present Lux Aeterna, a program of sacred music (premiered at the Abbey of Cluny - France), before broadening his repertoire to include interdisciplinary encounters. Inspired by early music texts, he developed the musical project Resonance, which was presented in France and abroad at international festivals. His research work is based on both "written" music and oral transmission, and takes place in places remarkable for their history, architecture and acoustics. In 2016, he became a "musician ambassador" for the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation. He became a "musician ambassador" for the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation.
