Slim Idaho Trio

Born : 28 Apr 1925 in Anderson County, South Carolina, USA - Died 17 Oct 1948 in Virginia, USA (aged 23) from a motorcycle accident. A hillbilly steel guitar player that appeared on the popular Barn Dance radio show. An innovator who popularized the long single note run. He was one of the first to use an electric steel pedal. He was killed on his motorcycle on the way to a gig at age twenty-three. Member of the WRVA Old Dominion Barn Dance, WSB Barn Dance and WSM Grand Ole Opry.
