Lindqvist has a Master of Fine Arts in Music Education, including advanced courses in singing (with teaching methodology and practice) and piano, from Musikhögskolan I Malmö in 1984. She also took a part-time course in drama during one semester in that same year. Between 1991 and 1993 Lindqvist studied part-time (50%) for two years in music production and CD production. She had started with web design privately in 1996, but she also took a full-time course in advanced web design for five weeks in November and December 2000. Between 1981 and 2000, Lindqvist worked as a freelancing musician (piano), actor and singer; for example in musicals, actor & musician and/or orchestra leader in theatres, singer in [a3188364], background vocalist to several artists such as Sissel, Carola (3), [a675601], Lisa Nilsson, Östen Warnerbring and others. In the mid 1990s, Cristin Lindqvist and Kent Olofsson also started their collaboration as the duo [a6395784]. Lindqvist has even worked as a photo model, with advertisement for the Swedish company Hemmets Journal AB's weekly magazine "Hemmets Journal", from 1991 to 1998. As a music teacher, Lindqvist worked as a part-time teacher, with teaching in grade schools, from 1985 to 1988 and in 1997. She has also worked on full-time for a year, autumn 1999 to summer 2000. She also worked as a part-time teacher in singing and as voice teacher at Musikhögskolan I Malmö, from autumn 1993 to summer 2010. When she quit, she had developed a disease called Spasmodic Dysphonia, probably as early as 2009. The disease creeps up slowly and it wasn't until 2015 that it was diagnosed as spastic dysphonia. The disease is neurological and there is currently no cure for it. In 2002, Lindqvist also got a second part-time job as an administrator at Musikhögskolan I Malmö, which she stopped working with in June 2023. On the side, Lindqvist has run a sole proprietorship for both web design, mainly for composers and other musicians, and with a second part for well-being, with sales of anti-ageing products.
