German electronic band playing music in the style of Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream. Founded in the spring of 1996 following the success of a previous collaboration between Lambert Ringlage and Stephen Parsick. When Ringlage left the band in the autumn of the same year, the band changed its name to ['ramp]. RPM originally means as "Rounds Per Minute", what is an initials of the band members also - Ringlage, Parsick, Makowski.
