Friedrich Haenssler

Born in 1892 as "Friedrich Hänßler" – with growing international success as a Choral music publisher, the spelling adapted to the more mainstream writing "Hänssler". Died 1972. Sometimes gets confused with his own is son and successor of the by now well-renowned publishing house Hänssler Verlag whose name also is Friedrich Hänssler. Sometimes the both of them are described as "senior" respectecly "junior" to differentiate one from the other – but originally none of the both of them used a name suffix.
