Rock Section, a rockband From Ulvila (Western Finland) was formed in summer of 1968. The musicians were Tapio Mansikka-aho – vocal, guitar, Antti Malen – drums, Esa Lahti – organ and Harry Peätakala – bass, vocal. Second line up was formed 6.3.1969. and it included musicians Tapio Mansikka-aho – vocal, tambourine, Lars Broholm – lead guitar, vocal, Ville (Markku) Hujanen – rhytm guitar, Keijo Välimäki – bass, Veli Nevalainen – drums, vocal and Mauri Hujanen – sax, guitar. Rock Section made their last gig at end of October 1969. Rock Section was the one of the firsts rock bands in Finland, who published a self-released record/single Sweat soul fever/Mary the blues. It was recorded in YLE (Finnish broadcast radio/television) Karhulinna studio in Pori. A-side was named originally Sweet soul fever, but because of a clerical error at label the song got a new name.
