Rafael Macedo

Brazilian songwriter, arranger and musician. Macedo graduated in Artistic Education with a major in Music (UEMG) and perfected his skills at the Fundação de Educação Artística, where he has been working as a teacher since 2009. The composer has twice won the BDMG Instrumental Award (2006 and 2013) and in 2010, along with the group [a9062344], was awarded the Funarte Popular Music Circuit Award. He has worked with artists such as [a256166], [a316167], [a3625254], Misturada Orquestra, Kristoff Silva, Juliana Perdigão, Antonio Loureiro among others; and as an arranger has collaborated on albums of prominent artists in the music currently made in Minas Gerais: Ana (2014), Leonora Weissmann (2013/co-musical direction and arrangements), Graveola e o Lixo Polifônico (2012), Leopoldina Azevedo (2009) and Elefante Groove (2004).
