Gitbox Rebellion

Founded by Nigel Gavin in 1988, New Zealand... by 1994, Gitbox Rebellion would evolve into Gitbox, going from as many as 13 members to just 4 members [Nigel Gavin, Kim Halliday, Russell Hughes, and Jonathan Pease] to record the, 'Touch Wood' album, released in Auckland [NZ] on Rattle Records Ltd. Unashamedly analog, Gitbox Rebellion is a 10-piece guitar ensemble, playing original music composed by and for the group, in Auckland, NZ. Orchestral & atmospheric, composed and chaotic, the music spans and defies the genres of jazz, rock, folk and chamber music.
