Nigel Stephenson (1952-2003) SPATS (Nigel Stephenson) was an actor and singer, trained at the Royal Northern College of Music and Dartington College of Arts before co-founding Dr Fosters Travelling Theatre in which he directed and acted in some twenty shows. He developed and performed his tribute entertainments to three of the greatest performers of the twentieth century Fred Astaire, Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra.
