Bill Evans plays piano, Hammond organ synthesizers and Tenor Saxophone. Bill began piano lessons after his mother discovered him playing the cartoon themes on the family piano at age four. Bill studied classical piano throughout his childhood and eventually discovered pop music and jazz. This led to working the local clubs as a teenager. Here Mr. Evans acquired lessons that would stay with him throughout his adult life. Finding he wanted to expand his education, Bill studied Jazz performance and composition at York University. Later in his educational career, Bill would continue his studies and receive a Bachelors of Education degree from University of Toronto. Bill toured with the band Random Chants throughout the '80's and gained experience working clubs, concert venues and recording studios. He has shared the stage with such notables as Del Shannon, Jim McCarty from the Yardbirds, Peter Noone from Herman’s Hermits, Melissa Manchester and Whitey Glan. Bill has worked extensively over the last 20 years with Canadian Flautist Ron Korg and is featured on Ron's Grammy nominated album "Asia Beauty". He has appeared on numerous TV spots and travelled internationally with Ron. Bill has recently appeared on the short film soundtrack for Sister Of The Wind. He can be seen as the rehearsal pianist on the TV series "The Next Star/Super Group".
