Byron Hill (2)

American singer / songwriter, producer and publisher. Born December 12, 1953 in Winston - Salem, North Carolina. He's charted 22 times in the U.S. (all on the country charts) between 1979 and 2006, "Nothing on But the Radio" by Gary Allan hit #1 on the country chart and #32 overall in 2004 (co-written by Brice Long). He also hit #1 country with "Fool Hearted Memory" by George Strait in 1982 (co-written with Alan R. Mevis). "Born Country" by Alabama reached #2 in 1992 (co-written by John Schweers) and "Lifestyles of the Not So Rich and Famous" by Tracy Byrd reached #4 in 1994 (co-written by Wayne Tester). Byron was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2018.
