Josh Barnett (b.1977) is a mixed martial arts fighter (with a background in catch wrestling) and a professional wrestler, as an MMA fighter he competes in the heavyweight division and was a champion in the UFC, he also competed in other promotions such as Pride, Strikeforce and Affliction; as a professional wrestler he made appearances on New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Inoki Genome Federation, TNA Wrestling, amongst others. He is an avid heavy metal fan, did backing vocals on HammerFall's 2014 album "" and also appeared on the Amon Amarth's music video "Mjölner, Hammer of Thor" (2019).
