Canadian record company executive and producer from Ottawa, Ontario (1934 - October 20, 2019). Was Treasurer of rackjobber Sherman Enterprises when Electric & Musical Industries (Canada) Limited took it over in January 1969 and appointed him Vice President of their Waco Sales Ltd. department. In June that year Capitol Records (Canada) Ltd. appointed him VP of Marketing. In April 1970 he was promoted to Executive VP and General Manager until March 1971 when he became President of Capitol Records (Canada) Ltd. and remained in that position during its transition to Capitol Records-EMI Of Canada Limited. In 1977 he moved to CBS Records Canada Ltd. as Chairman where he spent 5 years until leaving the music industry in 1982 to work in the book publishing industry. President of the CRIA and Maple Music Inc. in 1973 and 1974.
