Iwona Trzaskowska

Polish singer, author of texts, composer. She cooperated with Irena Jarocka (1983-1984), Halina Frąckowiak (1984) and with the groups: Zoo (20) (1983) and Mad Money (second half of the 80s). In 1984, she decided to pursue a solo career and immediately managed to gain the favor of the media of the time. At the Festival of Polish Songs in Opole (1984), she sang the song "Weszłam w szkodę", for which she received an honorable mention (she actually sang it twice - in the concerts "Premie i Premiery" and "Mikrofon i Ekran"). In August 1984, TVP1 aired her TV recital "Uwaga debiut! - Iwona Trzaskowska" (premiere: Sunday, August 5, 1984), which featured guest singers Frąckowiak and Jarocka. Among the other performers (and they were: Adrianna Biedrzyńska, Martyna Jakubowicz, Grzegorz Markowski, Krzysztof Stelmaszyk (actor), Andrzej Zaucha) she played herself and sang a song titled under the title "Krzyk" in the film "Miłość z listy przebojów" (1984/1985). She died tragically from a stabbing by her own husband, on June 2, 1992 in Antwerp (Belgium) at the age just 32.
