Tamara Williams (2)

Drummer and percussionist in the Houston, Texas area. She plays drums with blues artists Diunna Greenleaf and Blue Mercy, Tweed Smith & The Internationals, Trudy Lynn and Steve Krase. She is also a contract percussionist with pop musician Sugar Joiko, and principal percussionist of The Woodlands Symphony. Williams received her bachelor’s degree in music education from Sam Houston State University in 2010 and a master’s degree in music performance from The University of Arizona in 2013. She went on to work as a band director at a middle school in Houston.
