Sunnybrook Road

Sunnybrook Road is a duo side project of half-brothers Shady Monk & Eric Jon, started under the project title 'OPTIFLUX' some time in 2011, when Eric would visit home from school. Under this title, the brothers started creating the material that would wind up becoming their first duo album, 'Taking Shape'. A few years passed before the two moved in together, where they created more material for the project. After working through creative differences and other relevant issues that caused delays, the duo settled on the group name 'Sunnybrook Rd', the name of the street on which they first began working on material together, and self-released 'Taking Shape' on their groups bandcamp page, along with a non-album single, 'Are We There Yet', the first track the duo ever successfully completed together.
