Amy Jo Ellis was born and raised on a Southern California horse ranch in the small community of Modjeska Canyon, California. She first remembers performing in front of an audience at age 7 (her father Rusty Richards (3) was a musician also and pulled her onstage) and that started her on music as a career path. In 2005, she moved to a tiny island off the coast of Puerto Rico called Culebra living there until April 2015 then on to Hayden, Idaho. She now lives in Spokane, Washington.
