Alain Quateau

Belgian filmmaker, screenwriter and guitarist from Haaltert. Older brother of Marc Quateau. Alain graduated from film school with ‘HEY!’, a short movie which was shown in theaters nationwide and on the major national tv-network VTM. After years of freelancing as a DOP and director he started his academic career. First as lecturer, then as head of the department at Narafi film school and until now as COO of Luca School of Arts. In the meantime he started HolaGuapa, a screen writers collective with whom he soon sold his first screenplay for a prime time police procedural on VTM. It turned out to be the first of more than fourty screenplays such as 'Witse', 'Aspe', 'Spoed', 'Zone Stad' and 'Code 37'.
