Gale Fiscus (October 13, 1921 in Wellborn, Kansas - July 27, 2008 in Bettendorf, Iowa) was a baritone vocalist and emcee associated with Moline Gospel Temple and The King's Men Quartet. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II aboard the battleship New Mexico in the North Atlantic and the 571 Destroyer Claxton in most of the Pacific vital campaigns. He moved with his wife Ruth to the Quad Cities in September 1954, becoming Operations Manager of Sylvan Acres, Inc., a dairy and cattle business with headquarters in Bettendorf, Iowa. Mr. Fiscus founded the Plow City Personnel Agency in 1960, a general employment business in which he was active until 1965. He retired from the Rock Island Arsenal in 1990 after working as a Systems Analyst in international logistics.
