Carol Rifkin

An award winning singer, guitarist and dancer, she is a long time member of the Green Grass Cloggers and appeared with them in two Emmy Award winning shows, as well as the Smithsonian, MerleFest, Wheatland and Philadelphia Folk Festivals. She appeared in projects like the BBC documentary "Down Home, Appalachia to Nashville" with fiddler Tommy Jarrell, the movie "Songcatcher" and writes about music and Appalachian culture for the Asheville Citizen-Times and other publications.
